Beskrivelse
The iRig Pre 2 is a small preamp that sits between an XLR microphone and a mobile device or camera. It accepts dynamic, ribbon and condenser microphones, offers switchable +48 V phantom power, and provides 48 dB of adjustable gain. A headphone output allows direct monitoring while recording, and an on/off switch controls the unit.
It connects through an attached 40 cm TRRS cable with an auto-sensing 3.5 mm output, which adapts to compatible phones, tablets and cameras. It works with iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Android devices that have a CTIA/AHJ-compliant 3.5 mm headset input (built-in or via adaptor), as well as most DSLR cameras with a 3.5 mm microphone input.
Power comes from two AA batteries, which last about 20 hours with phantom power off and about 7 hours with it on. The package includes the batteries, a Velcro strip and free apps for iOS and Android, such as VocaLive CS, iRig Recorder LE and bonus microphones for Mic Room iOS.
