The Upod Pro is a 16-bit, 48 kHz USB 2.0 recording interface with full-duplex 2x2 analog I/O. It has two microphone inputs with individual gain control, a guitar input, and a stereo RCA input with its own gain. Phantom power is provided at +48V and +5V. Class-compliant operation means no driver installation is needed.
A built-in 72-effect DSP section is selected with a knob on the top panel, alongside Hi, Mid and Low EQ knobs. A voice-over (attenuator) button automatically lowers background music while a mic signal is present, with two knobs for the ramping speed and the amount of ducking. Buttons choose whether the mic is recorded to the computer dry or wet, and whether the monitor mix is dry or wet. The RCA input and DSP also allow stand-alone use without a computer.
Outputs are two 1/4" TRS line outputs or a stereo 3.5 mm output, plus two 1/4" TRS headphone outputs, each with its own volume control, and a master volume knob on the top panel. It works with Mac and Windows computers over USB.
