The Space 67 is a tube condenser microphone built around a pressure-gradient transducer with a shock-mounted capsule. It offers omnidirectional, cardioid and figure-8 patterns, plus a switchable -10 dB pad and a switchable low cut filter. It uses an EF86EH tube, and its signal path includes WIMA capacitors, Fairchild resistors and a Cinemag transformer.
The body is all metal with an electroplated finish. A magnetic pop shield is built into the design, and a shock mount is supplied. The low noise floor suits quiet and intimate material, and the mic is intended for vocals, acoustic instruments and amplifiers in a studio setting.
The microphone connects to the supplied power supply unit through a 7-pin cable. The power supply cabling comes from Gotham Audio, and the power supply has an XLR 3 F output. A metal storage case is also part of the package.
