The AirMon UHF sends stereo audio from a compact transmitter to a bodypack receiver over UHF, using uncompressed digital transmission at a selectable 48 kHz or 96 kHz sample rate. An illuminated toggle switch changes the rate, and latency is stated at around 9 ms. Pairing is automatic and usually takes one to two seconds.
Any number of receivers can be paired with one transmitter, and a receiver can also work with up to three nearby transmitters. That makes the system usable for multi-performer monitoring, silent events, group tours and shared studio reference listening. The transmitter has 40 selectable channels in the 627–667 MHz range.
Both units have built-in rechargeable lithium batteries charged over USB Type-C, with roughly 6 hours of use per charge. The transmitter takes a line source through a 3.5 mm cable, and the receiver has a 3.5 mm headphone output suited to most in-ear monitors or headphones. The set includes Scan 10 in-ear monitors, detachable antennas and a belt clip.
