The AirMon 4 is a wireless monitoring set made up of a transmitter unit and a neckband receiver with semi-in-ear earphones. It sends audio over the 5.8GHz band as uncompressed 16-bit/48kHz digital audio, with stated distortion below 0.1% and a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. The earphones use 14.2mm dynamic drivers.
Pairing is handled with a single button, and the system reconnects quickly once paired. One transmitter can feed several receivers, so a group can monitor the same source at once. The wireless monitoring distance is rated at 10 meters, and a noise reduction function is listed for use in busy environments.
The transmitter has a 1200mA battery and runs for about 6.5 hours, while the 650mA receiver lasts about 8 hours per charge. Both are charged over USB-C; a USB-C cable is included along with the transmitter and a user manual. The soft neckband and semi-in-ear fit are designed for long sessions when mixing, monitoring live shows or editing video.
