The AirMic 3 is a two-piece wireless lavalier set that records at 48kHz/24bit with a 360-degree omnidirectional pickup. The 10g transmitters carry dual digital displays that show battery level, connection status and volume. A mute mode, ear monitoring and independent playback are included, along with a second-generation noise reduction mode that adds a vocal-enhancement reverb.
Transmission uses an adaptive 2.4GHz digital link rated for up to 40 meters without obstacles. Each transmitter runs for about 8.5 hours per charge, and the charging case extends the combined runtime to 24 hours. Active noise cancellation is listed as the noise reduction method, and a windscreen is supplied for outdoor or windy use.
The system pairs automatically and needs no receiver setup beyond plugging in a smartphone adapter. Adapters for Lightning, USB-C and 3.5mm are supplied, and the case charges over USB-C.
