Cur síos
The V40 OPN is a dreadnought-body steel-string acoustic guitar finished in Open Pore Natural. The top is spruce, while the back, sides and neck are meranti. The fretboard and bridge are made of nandu wood, and a white dot inlay and a water-decal soundhole rosette complete the look.
The neck has 20 frets on a 650mm (25.6") scale, with a 42mm nut width, a 54mm width at the 14th fret and a 250mmR fingerboard radius. Strings are spaced 11mm apart and the guitar ships with .012–.053 gauge strings tuned to standard E A D G B E. Chrome covered tuners hold the tuning, and Ibanez Advantage bridge pins are fitted, with a bulb-shaped head that makes them easy to grip and stops them being pushed in too far.
This is a purely acoustic instrument with no electronics listed. The maker recommends the FS40DA case and the IAB540-BK gig bag for transport, and a manual and parts catalogue are available for download.
