The Mars 300 Pro sends HDMI video wirelessly from a camera to a receiver over 5 GHz using OFDM modulation in a 20 MHz channel. Range is stated as up to 300 ft (100 m), with 0.1 s transmission latency. The transmitter has an HDMI input and an HDMI loop-out for a local monitor, and the receiver has an HDMI output.
A side OLED display shows signal strength, remaining battery and the active channel, and it stays facing the user in vertical or horizontal mounting. Menu navigation and settings are handled with a single thumbwheel switch. Both units can run from USB-C at 5V/2A, from a DC supply, or from an NP-F battery. The transmitter uses two RP-SMA antenna connectors.
The HollyView app on a phone works as an extra monitor and adds 3D LUTs, focus peaking, zebra pattern and zoom. Firmware can be updated through the app. The set comes in three packages: Standard with built-in transmitter antennas, Enhanced with three detachable transmitter antennas and an anti-impact design, and a single transmitter.
