The VR 11214 is a passive two-way loudspeaker for permanent installation in protected indoor areas. A 12-inch neodymium cone driver handles bass and midrange, and a 1.4-inch compression driver covers the highs through a built-in passive crossover at 990 Hz with 12 dB/octave slopes. The cabinet is a bass-reflex design in MDF with an acrylic enamel finish and a coated steel front grille.
The horn comes in three variants (60° x 40°, 90° x 55° or an asymmetric 60-90° x 55°), and each can be rotated by 90° to fit the room's coverage needs. Rated power is 350 W RMS, 700 W program and 1400 W peak, with a maximum peak SPL of 129 dB. The cabinet is certified for ball impact under DIN 18032-3, which suits gyms and sports halls.
The input is a single Speakon NL4, with a parallel output on screw terminals under a contact protection cover. Rigging points on the sides, lid, bottom and back allow wall, ceiling or flown mounting with the maker's accessories. Filter and preset files are available for Lab.gruppen, Powersoft, Lake and QSC Q-SYS processing. Standard colours are black and white, with other RAL colours available.
