The PR:O 112 XD2 is a powered two-way speaker built around a 12" cone driver and a 1" compression driver on a constant directivity horn. The crossover sits at 2.5 kHz and the cabinet is a bass reflex design in MDF with an acrylic enamel finish in jet black. Coverage is 90° x 55° (horizontal x vertical).
A Class D biamped amplifier delivers 1200 W peak. Protection comes from peak and RMS sound limiters that work separately for the high and low/mid sections. A Music/Speech tone control and Flat/Boost filter presets adapt the response to different uses, and the response is described as balanced to keep feedback low.
There is one balanced XLR/jack combo input for mic or line signals and one balanced XLR-Thru output for passing the signal on. Power comes in through an IEC connector. The cabinet has a DuoTilt 3/7 design with a 33° monitor angle, 3 x M8 rigging points, a SingleGrip handle and a MultiGrip handle. A steel front grille backed with acoustic foam protects the drivers.
