The PREMIUM PR:O 112 FD2 is a self-powered two-way loudspeaker in a bass-reflex MDF cabinet. A 12" cone driver handles low and mid frequencies and a 1" compression driver on a constant-directivity horn covers the highs, with a 2.5 kHz crossover. Coverage is 90° x 55° (horizontal x vertical).
The Class D amplifier is biamped and delivers 1200 W peak. Peak and RMS limiters protect the drivers, with separate limiting for the high and low/mid sections. The DSP offers a Music/Speech tone control and Flat/Boost filter presets. Maximum SPL is quoted as 124 dB average and 132 dB peak.
A single XLR/jack combo input accepts mic or line signals, and a balanced XLR-Thru output passes the signal on to another unit. Power comes in through an IEC connector. Two built-in MultiGrip handles serve for carrying and also take the TB-45N or TB-45NQ tilt brackets for rigging. The cabinet has DuoTilt 3/7 angles and a steel front grille backed with acoustic foam. It can be paired with the PR:O 118 SUB D2 bass unit as a club PA.
