The LINEAR SUB 1500 A is an active 15-inch bass-reflex subwoofer with a 1200 W peak Class D amplifier. It extends the low end of LINEAR 3 and LINEAR 5 mid/high units and the ELEMENTS Easy Base, Smart Base and Line Base systems.

The LINEAR SUB 1500 A is a powered subwoofer built around a single 15" cone driver with a 3" voice coil in a bass-reflex MDF cabinet. Its Class D amplifier delivers 1200 W peak, and the unit reaches 130 dB average and 132 dB peak SPL. Response extends down to 49 Hz at -6 dB and 45 Hz at -10 dB.
The electronics include an analog preamplifier, a subsonic filter at 24 dB/oct and a peak limiter for driver protection. The crossover frequency is switchable between 100 Hz and 120 Hz. Two XLR/jack combo inputs are paired with two XLR-Thru outputs, and two high-passed XLR line outputs feed the mid/high units.
The cabinet has an acrylic enamel finish in jet black (RAL 9005) and a steel front grille backed with acoustic foam. Two MultiGrip handles help with carrying, and an M20 pole mount allows a mid/high unit to sit on top. Power comes through an IEC connector with a V-lock safety system.
