The LINEAR 5 MK2 110 XA is a powered two-way loudspeaker combining a 10-inch cone driver with a 1-inch compression driver on a rotatable constant-directivity horn. Its cabinet is built from hybrid birch plywood and MDF, and the angled lower edge lets it work as a low-feedback stage monitor as well as a mid/high unit paired with subwoofers. Dispersion is 80° x 60°, narrow enough that the horn does not need turning for most uses.
A Class D biamped power section delivers 600 W RMS and 1200 W peak, with a DSP preamplifier that provides a 10-band parametric EQ, high-pass and low-pass filters, delay, polarity, limiter and mute. Filter presets are Flat, Monitor, Low Cut and Remote, and the unit is controlled from HK Audio DSP CONTROL software for Windows and macOS.
Connections include an XLR/jack combo input, an XLR link output, a DSP output on XLR, an Ethercon network input for Milan digital audio, and a V-lock IEC power inlet. The cabinet has a pole mount with DuoTilt 3°/7° angles, three M8 rigging points and a single carrying handle.
