IL 80-CT
The IL 80-CT is a passive two-way ceiling loudspeaker with a coaxial 8" woofer and 1" dome tweeter, built without a rear chamber for ceilings 10–40 mm thick. It suits installations with short listening distances and offers low-impedance or 100 V line operation.

The IL 80-CT is a closed-principle, passive two-way ceiling speaker with the woofer and tweeter mounted coaxially. An 8" polypropylene woofer and a 1" aluminum dome tweeter share an integrated passive crossover set at 3.0 kHz. The frequency range is 55 Hz to 16 kHz (-6 dB), and the maximum peak SPL is 113 dB. It is meant for rooms where listeners sit close to the speaker.
The unit runs at 8 ohms on a low-impedance amplifier, handling 60 W RMS. It also has a switchable 100 V transformer with five power taps of 1, 2, 4, 8 and 15 W. The tap can be changed with a switch after the speaker is installed.
Three mounting clamps reachable from the front hold the speaker in ceilings from 10 to 40 mm thick, using a 22.0 cm cut-out. A pluggable metal grille covers the front, and both the housing and the grille are white and can be painted over. Connection is through a terminal input with a parallel output terminal. Lab.gruppen LUCIA presets and filter sheets are available for amplifier setup.
