The FO 10 is a passive full-range cabinet built around a 10-inch woofer with a ferrite magnet and a 1-inch compression driver. A constant directivity horn with an 80° x 60° dispersion pattern can be rotated by 90°, so the cabinet can stand upright, lie on its side or hang on its side while keeping suitable coverage. The enclosure is bass reflex and covers 71 Hz to 20 kHz (-6 dB).
The cabinet is made of MDF with an acrylic enamel finish and a coated steel front grille backed with acoustic foam. It is available in black or white, with special colours possible. Rigging points include M8 threads on the sides, bottom, top and back, plus a VESA 100 x 100 mm pattern on the back. Ball impact resistance is certified to DIN 18032-3, which allows use in sports-hall type environments, though the speaker is rated only for dry indoor areas.
Connection is through two NL4 Speakon sockets, one input and one parallel output. DSP presets and filter sheets are offered for amplifiers and processors from Lab.gruppen, LEA, Ashly, Biamp, BSS, Powersoft, QSC, Symetrix and others. The maker recommends the S118 or S218 subwoofers as partners.
