The COSMO C 8 is a passive, bass-reflex line array cabinet covering the mid and high range. It pairs two 8-inch SICA cone speakers with a 1.4-inch B&C compression driver behind an MCT horn, crossed over at 800 Hz with 18 dB/oct. slopes. Horizontal dispersion is 80° and vertical is 10°, which suits medium-sized venues and long throws.
The cabinet is built from birch plywood with a PU coating and a steel front grille backed with acoustic foam. It has three-point rigging hardware and four integrated handles. It is designed to sit in the centre of a mixed array with C 6 and C 10 units without adapters or gaps, and it can be combined with C SUB subwoofers for rock and pop use.
Connection is by NL4 Speakon, with one input and one parallel output, and the pin assignment is switchable. Amplifier presets are listed for Lab.gruppen Lake and Powersoft Armonia+. Rigging, transport and ground-stack accessories are available, including frames, a wheel board and a dolly.
