Passive 2-way coaxial in-ceiling speaker with a 6.5" polypropylene woofer and 1" aluminum dome tweeter. It suits fixed installations in dry indoor spaces and runs on either low-impedance or 100 V lines.

The CM-6 is a ceiling-mounted loudspeaker from the SI Series installation range. A 6.5" polypropylene woofer/midrange with a ferrite magnet is paired with a 1" aluminum dome tweeter, and the two are crossed over at 3.0 kHz. It covers 75 Hz to 20 kHz (-6 dB) with a 140° dispersion angle and reaches a peak SPL of 114 dB on a low-impedance feed.
The speaker can be driven directly at 8 ohms or from a 100 V line through a front-operated transformer with bypass. Four power taps (15, 10, 7.5 and 5 W) let the level be set per zone. The steel enclosure has a multi-stiffened rear can, a rimless magnetic front grille, and ships with both black and white grilles so it can match the room.
Wiring is via 2-pin Euroblock connectors for input and a parallel output. Three front-accessible clamps secure it in a 24.0 cm cut-out, and a template is supplied. DSP presets and filter sheets are available for several amplifier and processor platforms, including Lab.gruppen LUCIA, Biamp Tesira, QSC Q-SYS and Powersoft. Bass can be supported with separate subwoofers.
