The CAD 208 is a passive 2.5-way line array module for fixed installations, with two 8-inch woofers and two 1-inch compression drivers in a polyamide cabinet. It suits indoor and outdoor venues that need a weather- and UV-resistant array with adjustable splay.

The CAD 208 is a passive mid/high line array unit with a bass-reflex polyamide cabinet. Two 8" cone drivers handle low and mid frequencies, helped by a quarter-wave resonator, while two 1" compression drivers sit on constant-directivity horns. The enclosure is built from weather- and UV-resistant plastic and is rated IP 44. The standard version with Speakon connectors has limited weather resistance, and PG cable glands are available as an option.
Rigging is built into the cabinet with three integrated points and a mechanism that sets the splay angle from 0° to 15° in 1.5° steps. Each module covers 100° horizontally by 15° vertically. A steel front grille with an anticorrosive coating and acoustic foam backing protects the drivers, and two grip edges on the rear serve as handles. A range of mounting accessories covers indoor and outdoor installation, including frames, wall and ceiling brackets and a transport case.
The unit is wired through two NL4 Speakon connectors, one input and one parallel output. It is designed to be used with the mechanically compatible CAD 115 flyable subwoofer. DSP presets and filter sheets are available for Lab.gruppen, Powersoft, LEA Professional, HK Audio DSM 2060 and HK Audio FIRNET amplification.
