H360

The H360 is a stereo integrated amplifier built around Hegel's SoundEngine2 output stage design, which is aimed at reducing overall and crossover distortion. It is rated at 250 W per channel into 8 ohms and 420 W per channel into 4 ohms, with a damping factor above 4000 for control of difficult loudspeaker loads. Input transistors are hand-matched, and dedicated power supplies feed precision volume attenuators for a low noise floor.

The analog section has one balanced XLR input, one unbalanced RCA input and a home theatre bypass input. Digital inputs are one coaxial, three optical and one USB, with the USB input handling formats up to native DSD128. An Ethernet port provides network streaming through Apple AirPlay and DLNA. The built-in DAC uses Hegel's proprietary re-clocking to improve sources such as phones and computers.

Outputs include a fixed and a variable line-level RCA pair, plus a coaxial digital output that carries signal from the digital inputs only. A 3.5 mm IR jack on the rear panel accepts external control signals. The unit comes in a black finish and is listed as a discontinued model.
