The D510ua is an optional interface for the D510r rack. Installed on the rear panel, it turns the rack into an audio hub with up to 10 analog inputs, 14 analog outputs and 16 channels of bi-directional ADAT I/O, for a total of 26 inputs and 30 outputs across analog and digital.
Every slot has its own A/D and D/A converter. Four extra D/A converters serve the headphone mixes of the D510mx mixer interface when that unit is fitted. USB gives direct connection to a DAW, ADAT can extend an existing system, and both can be used at the same time.
Front-panel controls and routing allow switching between USB and ADAT. Word Clock I/O is provided for digital clocking. A user guide for the D510 system is available for download, and a bundle with the D510 rack and the ADAT/USB interface is offered.
