32Cpre+
Single-channel 500 Series microphone preamp with a Jensen JT-MB-CPCA input transformer, taken from the Harrison 32Classic console. It adds Harrison high-pass and low-pass filters and a front-panel combo input, for studios using 500 Series racks.

The 32Cpre+ is a one-slot 500 Series module built around a Jensen JT-MB-CPCA transformer-coupled mic preamp. The circuit comes from the 32Classic console, which was inspired by the Harrison 3232. The 1:1 transformer gives a gentle roll-off at both ends of the spectrum and a slight phase shift. Gain runs from +20 to +70 dB, enough for a wide range of microphones, ribbons included.
The front panel carries a combo XLR/¼" jack input, so a microphone or instrument can be plugged in without reaching the rear of the rack. Switches cover 48V phantom power, 180° polarity reverse, a -20 dB pad and HiZ input impedance, and an LED indicates input overload.
The module also includes the Harrison filters from the 3232 and 32Classic. Both have a 12 dB/octave slope, and the high-pass filter has a 3 dB resonant peak. The high-pass range is 25 Hz to 3.1 kHz and the low-pass range is 160 Hz to 20 kHz. The module fits 500 Series format chassis.
