The SR325 is an open-air, wired dynamic headphone in Grado's Classic Series. It uses the company's 44mm X2 driver, which has a Mylar diaphragm, a copper voice coil and a rare earth magnet system. The tuning is aimed at articulation and speed, with tight bass, forward midrange and crisp high-frequency extension.
The housing is precision-machined aluminum, intended to reduce unwanted resonance. The headband assembly is the Signature Silver design, derived from the Signature Gold platform, with engraved reinforced polymer gimbals and junction blocks, a genuine leather headstrap with white contrasting stitching and an internal steel spring band that lets the user adjust clamping pressure.
It connects through a wired Signature Silver cable, which is lighter and more flexible than earlier Grado cables. Grado F cushions are fitted as standard and also act as a tuning element, since swapping cushions changes the sound character.
