Ethos
The Ethos is a moving-coil phono cartridge with a nude diamond, vital-shape line-contact stylus on an aluminium alloy cantilever. It uses a hand-built GOL-1 generator and is aimed at vinyl listeners who want a high-end MC cartridge for a quality turntable.

The Ethos is a moving-coil cartridge built around a hand-built GOL-1 generator. The coils are wound on a cross-shaped armature of high-permeability Swedish iron, which keeps unsprung mass low and the coils separated to limit cross-talk. A light neodymium magnet sits between two pole shoes to create a uniform magnetic field.
The stylus is a nude diamond with a vital-shaped shank and a polyhedral line-contact profile, mounted on a stiff, lightweight aluminium alloy cantilever tuned in length for stability and ride height. The suspension uses a damper pad made from a butyl rubber compound together with a tensioned tie-wire. The stylus is factory replaceable.
The body is milled from low-density aircraft-grade aluminium, intended to keep effective mass low and pass resonances into the tonearm. The cartridge mounts with standard half-inch (12.7 mm) fixing centres, has a recommended tracking force of 1.5 to 2.0 g and is specified for a 100 Ω load.
