The G One is a small powered loudspeaker in a die-cast aluminium reflex-ported cabinet. A 76 mm cone bass driver and a 19 mm metal-dome tweeter sit behind a Directivity Control Waveguide, and each is driven by its own 25 W Class D amplifier through an active crossover set at 3000 Hz. Frequency response runs from 67 Hz to 25 kHz (-6 dB), with a short-term maximum SPL of 96 dB or more.

The speaker has a single RCA analog input, so a source can be connected directly without an external power amplifier. Intelligent Signal Sensing puts the speaker into a low-power sleep state of 0.5 W or less when no signal is present, and it can be switched off on the back panel. Driver protection circuitry limits the output level when needed.

A removable Iso-Pod rubber stand decouples the cabinet from the surface and allows about 15 degrees of tilt either way. M6 mounting points on the cabinet accept Genelec wall, ceiling, truss and table stand accessories. The speaker comes in white, black or a raw aluminium finish and weighs 1.7 kg.
