Recoder records a phrase of up to 10 minutes per slot, or takes a live signal at the REC input, and analyses it with an FFT engine of up to 1024 frequency bands. The result is applied to the instrument signal in real time rather than played back as a loop. A resolution switch offers High (1024), Mid (512) and Low (256) settings.

Four shared endless encoders work across three colour-coded layers. White covers amplitude shaping and timbre transfer, a vocoder-like effect. Yellow extracts slices and resonances from overlapping frequencies and feeds them into repeats and distance controls for delay, reverse delay, reverb and feedback. Red reshapes the modulator with tilt EQ, drive, bit reduction, pitch shifting and time-stretching. Three play modes are available: Loop, Step and Live.

It has 1/4" mono jacks for instrument input, main output, and buffered REC input and output, plus a built-in electret microphone. MIDI control works over USB-C or a 3.5mm TRS Type B MIDI input, with no MIDI output. The USB-C port is for firmware updates and MIDI only, with no file access. It was a limited 2025 run, and only B-stock or surplus units may appear.
