The F7-15TM Sub is a single-unit subwoofer built around a 380 mm bass driver with a multi-fibre cone. The driver sits in a rigid, heavily braced cabinet with forward-firing ports. It is tuned to reach down to 23 Hz in room (-6 dB, typical) and up to 250 Hz.
It is specified for amplifiers of 600 to 1200 W RMS and handles 1200 W RMS continuously, with a 2400 W peak rating. Sensitivity is 98 dB (2.83 V at 1 m). Rated maximum SPL is 125 dB on average and 128 dB at peak, which gives it headroom for large rooms.
It is part of the F700TM Series and is intended to extend the dynamic range of F700TM monitors in a home theatre system.
