The F5E LCR is a left/centre/right speaker for home theatre use, built around a 2½-way design with an auxiliary bass radiator (ABR). A 125mm IsoFlare multi-fibre bass/mid driver with a 19mm titanium dome compression tweeter works as a point source, with a separate 125mm bass driver and a 125mm ABR handling the low end.
The cabinet is a compact horizontal enclosure finished in Black Ash vinyl, measuring 170 x 440 x 120mm and weighing 5.7kg. Integrated mounting brackets let it be fixed to a wall, and it can also be used as a freestanding speaker. It suits dialogue-focused centre-channel duty and can be used in the left and right positions as well.
The nominal impedance is 8 ohms and sensitivity is 88dB (2.83V at 1m). Recommended amplifier power is 30 to 100 watts RMS, with 50 watts RMS continuous power handling. Connection is by speaker terminals to an AV receiver or amplifier. It belongs to the F500E series.
