The F300LCR is a slim wall-mounted speaker derived from the F300C centre channel. Its cabinet is shallower than the original, so it sits closer to the wall. It can be used as a stereo speaker, a centre channel or a surround speaker.
Two 125mm multi-fibre bass/mid drivers flank a 25mm polyester dome tweeter in a D'Apolitto arrangement, which is intended to give a wide sound stage. It is a 2-way closed-box design with a 3.4kHz crossover and 90dB sensitivity, with a 50W RMS continuous power rating and 25 to 100W RMS recommended amplifier power. Frequency response is quoted as 80Hz to 28kHz (-6dB, typical in room), so it is intended to be used with a subwoofer.
The speaker is sold as a single unit and comes in Black Ash, Light Oak or Walnut finishes. A wall mounting template and the F300 series manual are available as downloads. The product is listed under the Discontinued category.
