The F300i LCR is a closed-box centre channel based on the cabinet and driver layout of the F300C, with a shallower cabinet so it sits neatly on a wall. The crossover and tweeter are upgraded, which the maker says gives a more refined treble. Besides centre duty, it can be used as a stereo or surround speaker.
Two 125mm multi-fibre bass/mid drivers flank a 25mm titanium dome tweeter in a D'Apolitto arrangement for a wide sound stage. The crossover point is 3.4kHz, using a 2nd order low-pass and 1st order high-pass filter. Sensitivity is 90dB, and the speaker presents a nominal 8 Ohm load. Recommended amplifier power is 25-100W RMS.
The speaker connects with conventional speaker terminals to an AV receiver or amplifier. It is supplied as a single unit and comes in Black Ash, Light Oak and Walnut finishes. The cabinet measures 156 x 400 x 120mm and weighs 4.4kg.
