The F300C is a dedicated centre channel speaker voice matched to the other models in the F300 series. It is intended to keep dialogue and centre-placed vocals clear in multichannel music and home cinema setups, and it is sized to sit in a typical TV cabinet while still pairing with larger models such as the F303 floorstander.
The two-way design uses two 125 mm (5") multi-fibre bass/mid drivers and a 25 mm (1") polyester dome tweeter in a rear-ported 6.2 litre cabinet. The crossover is set at 3.4 kHz, with a 2nd order low pass and a 3rd order high pass. Stated frequency response is 58 Hz to 28 kHz (-6 dB, typical in room), sensitivity is 90 dB and nominal impedance is 8 ohms.
The speaker is suited to amplifiers delivering 25 to 100 W RMS and handles 50 W RMS continuously. It is offered in Walnut, Black Ash and Light Oak finishes. The maker lists the model under its Discontinued category.
