The F3-8 pairs a 200mm (8") long-throw driver with a vented, downward-firing cabinet of 26 litres. Digital (DDX) amplification and DSP processing drive it, and the maker quotes a typical in-room response down to 35Hz (-6dB).
A Bass Boost switch raises output by 3dB in the 40–70Hz region, intended to give more weight to low-frequency effects in film soundtracks. The input filter is an 80Hz second-order low pass, with provision for an LFE signal. The amplifier mutes itself after roughly 10 minutes without an input signal.
Connections are two phono inputs for left and right stereo plus one mono LFE input. The unit runs from 220–240V mains and is offered in Black Ash and Clear finishes. It is listed by the maker as discontinued and belongs to the F3 Series, alongside the larger F3-10 and F3-12.
