A floorstanding two-way loudspeaker from Fyne Audio's F1 Series, sold as a pair and designed for smaller listening rooms. It uses an 8-inch IsoFlare driver with a magnesium dome tweeter and a downward-firing BassTrax port, and suits a wide range of amplifiers.

The F1-8S is a two-way floorstanding speaker built around a 200mm IsoFlare point source driver with a FyneFlute surround and a multi-fibre bass/midrange cone. A 25mm magnesium alloy dome compression tweeter with a neodymium magnet system sits at the centre of the driver. The crossover is set at 1.8kHz and uses a bi-wired passive low-loss design that has been deep cryogenically treated.
Bass comes from a twin cavity ported cabinet with a downward-firing port and a BassTrax Tractrix diffuser, giving a quoted in-room response of 30Hz to 34kHz. Sensitivity is 91dB with an 8 Ohm nominal impedance, so the speaker can be driven by anything from low-powered valve amplifiers to high-powered solid state designs. Two potentiometer controls adjust high frequency energy and presence by +/- 3dB to suit room size and placement.
The speakers are made and finished by hand in Fyne Audio's UK facility. The cabinet comes in a lacquered burr walnut finish, in Piano Gloss Walnut. Each speaker weighs 30.0kg.
