FreqTube FT1-EMU
FreqTube FT1-EMU is a software plugin that models the analog tube circuit of the FreqTube FT1 hardware using component-level SPICE-based modeling. It suits producers and engineers who want tube saturation in the DAW, with the option to switch to real FT1 hardware.

FT1-EMU runs as a standalone plugin and reproduces the signal path of the FreqTube FT1 tube unit. It uses a quad-tube engine with two tube types, E83CC for bolder saturation and 12AT7 for smoother harmonic warmth. Controls cover drive, overdrive, even/odd harmonics, clipping, phase, dry/wet and output, with automatic gain compensation for the harmonics so the level stays consistent.
Two multi-mode filters, a primary and a parallel one, follow a hardware-inspired topology. Each offers high-pass, low-pass, peak and bandpass modes with 12 or 24 dB slopes. The plugin can be used on multiple tracks and buses at once, supports full DAW automation, and recalls presets and sessions.
When an FT1 hardware unit is connected, the same plugin instance and session switch from emulation to processing through four real analog tube channels. Audio is streamed between the DAW and the unit, and all hardware settings are controlled from the plugin interface and stored with the session. The plugin is available as VST3, AU and AAX for 64-bit macOS and Windows.
