The Chora 816 is a floorstanding loudspeaker built on a 2.5-way design. It pairs a woofer with a midrange/bass driver, and both use Slatefiber cones. The combination is intended to give full-bodied sound with solid bass impact, a dynamic midrange and good power handling.
The cabinet is bass-reflex, with the port on the front below the drivers. This placement is used to reduce distortion and makes the speaker easier to position in a room. The speaker stands on a tilted base, which provides Time Alignment so that the soundstage is focused on the listening position.
The model is offered in a Light Wood finish. It is a passive loudspeaker and is driven by an external amplifier. Detailed electrical and dimensional specifications are not listed for this model.
