The Aria Evo X N°3 is a bass-reflex, three-way column speaker. It uses a 1" aluminium/magnesium inverted-dome TAM tweeter with an "M" profile, a 6.5" Flax midrange driver and three 6.5" Flax bass drivers. Compared with the N°2 in the same range, it adds a woofer and has a smaller footprint.
The Flax cone is a sandwich of French flax fibre between two thin sheets of fibreglass. TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) suspension adds finely positioned toroidal weights to stabilise the surround, and the TAM tweeter is designed for wide dispersion with a decompression chamber to limit rear-wave disturbance. Frequency response is 39 Hz to 30 kHz (±3 dB), sensitivity is 92 dB, and nominal impedance is 8 Ω with a 2.8 Ω minimum.
It is a passive speaker, driven by an external amplifier rated between 40 and 300 W. Finishes are Black High Gloss, Prime Walnut and Moss Green High Gloss, with a leather-effect front panel and a magnetic cloth grille. Four spikes and four pre-mounted counter-spikes are supplied.
