The Quantum ES 4 is a 4 x 4 recording interface that runs at 24-bit / 192 kHz and connects over USB-C. It carries four redesigned MAX-HD mic preamps, which are digitally controlled analog stages with a gain range of 75 dB, and custom low-latency drivers with low-noise converters.
The front-facing instrument inputs were developed together with Fender engineers for guitar and bass. An Auto Gain button sets recording levels for microphones and instruments, and an illuminated push encoder adjusts gain and output volume. LED metering shows input and output levels.
Preamp gain, phantom power and other functions can be set from the top panel, from the Universal Control app on a mobile device, tablet or desktop, or from within Fender Studio Pro. Registering the hardware includes a perpetual licence for Fender Studio Pro recording software.
