The Mustang LT25 is a 25-watt digital combo amplifier in a wooden cabinet with black textured vinyl covering and an integrated recessed handle. It uses a single 8-inch Fender Special Design speaker and a simple interface built around a 1.8-inch colour display and a handful of controls: Gain, Volume, Treble, Bass, Master, preset select, and back, save and menu buttons, plus a combined tap tempo/tuner button.

Sound comes from onboard modelling: 20 amp models and 25 effects, including distortion, overdrive, compression, modulation, reverb, delay and octave. Storage holds 50 presets, 30 of them pre-loaded and 20 easily accessible, and a chromatic tuner is available at the press of a button.

The amp has one 1/4-inch instrument input, a 3.5 mm stereo auxiliary input for playing along with tracks, and a 3.5 mm stereo headphone output for silent practice. USB serves for recording into a DAW and for firmware updates, and the amp works with the Fender Tone desktop app for macOS and Windows. An optional 1-button footswitch (P/N 0994049000) is sold separately. This EU version runs on 100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz.
