Opis
The JMJ Road Worn Mustang Bass is an artist signature model that recreates the look and feel of Justin Meldal-Johnsen's own vintage Mustang Bass. It has an alder body and a maple neck, both with a Road Worn nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The finish shows simulated wear such as nicks, pick scratches and aged hardware.
A 30" (762 mm) scale makes the lower frets easier to reach and keeps a tight, focused tone. The "C"-shape neck carries a 9.5"-radius rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges, medium jumbo frets and a synthetic bone nut. Sound comes from a custom-spec Seymour Duncan split single-coil Mustang Bass pickup, voiced to match the original instrument. Controls are master volume and master tone, with no pickup switching.
Vintage-style details include a 4-saddle strings-through-body bridge, Hipshot "Lollipop" tuners, an aged pearloid pickguard and vintage-style strap buttons. It is strung with Fender USA flatwound strings and comes with a Deluxe Gig Bag. It is a passive bass with a standard 1/4" output path through the controls and no onboard electronics listed.
