The Bassman Fuzz is a single-effect bass fuzz in an aluminum enclosure. A voice switch chooses between a compressed vintage fuzz and a touch-sensitive modern fuzz that responds to playing dynamics. A three-position focus switch sets which part of the spectrum is fuzzed: the full band, mids and highs only, or highs only. The blend knob mixes unaffected clean signal under the fuzz so the low end stays solid.

An internal tone control, reached by opening the back cover, adjusts the high-frequency content of the fuzz. A side-mounted pad switch adapts the input to active basses. Bypass is by soft-touch relay true bypass, and the pedal switches itself to bypass when no power is present.

The jacks are on the top edge, which saves board space. The pedal takes a 9-volt battery or a 9VDC center-negative adapter, which is not included. It has one 1/4" input and is finished in purple and silver with an inset aluminum face plate.
