Beskrivelse
The American Professional Classic Jazz Bass is a right-handed solid-body electric bass that follows the classic Jazz Bass layout. It has a gloss-finished alder body, a maple neck with a satin finish and a 34" scale length. The neck uses a Modern "C" profile, a 9.5" radius fingerboard, 20 medium jumbo frets and a synthetic bone nut.
Two Coastline '62 single-coil Jazz Bass pickups, based on Fender's Pure Vintage designs and slightly overwound, feed a simple control layout: a volume control for each pickup and a master Greasebucket tone circuit. The circuit is designed to roll off highs without adding bass or muddying the low end. There is no pickup switching.
Hardware is vintage-style: a 4-saddle bridge with steel saddles, 'lollipop' tuners, disc string trees and a 4-bolt neck plate in nickel/chrome finish. It is offered in 3-Color Sunburst, Faded Firemist Gold and Faded Dakota Red, with rosewood or maple fingerboards depending on the finish. A deluxe gig bag is included.
