Erica Synths Fusion System II

Fusion System II combines modules from the Fusion series into one pre-assembled modular synthesiser. The sound sources are two Fusion VCO2 oscillators, each with three simultaneous waveforms, a transistor suboscillator and a detune function built from two BBD delay lines acting as a frequency shifter. A tube overdrive stage sits on top of the oscillator mix.

Filtering comes from the Fusion VCF3, a resonant 24 dB/oct lowpass design that uses vacuum tubes and vactrols and includes a CV recorder that captures potentiometer movement for modulation patterns. The Fusion Modulator provides two looping envelope generators with unipolar and bipolar outputs, a VCA, a noise generator and sample and hold. The Fusion VCA/Waveshaper/Ringmodulator uses two miniature pentodes, and the Fusion Delay/Flanger/Vintage Ensemble adds BBD effects with an adjustable tube overdrive and a feedback path.

The whole signal and CV path is analogue, and the system offers 63 patchpoints. Everything is mounted in a 104HP one-row Skiff case with a lid, and 20 patch cables are included.
