Deskrizzjoni
The J-200 Studio EC is a cutaway Super Jumbo flattop modelled on the classic Gibson SJ-200. It combines a solid spruce top with select maple back and sides in a gloss finish, and carries the Moustache-shaped pau ferro bridge and a pickguard with J-200 graphics.
The set neck is hard maple with a 60s SlimTaper D profile, a 304.8 mm radius pau ferro fingerboard with pearloid crown inlays, and 20 medium jumbo frets on a 647.7 mm scale. Grover Rotomatic tuners with an 18:1 ratio and a two-way adjustable truss rod handle setup and tuning stability.
For amplified use, a Fishman Sonicore under-saddle pickup feeds a Fishman Presys preamp with volume control, phase and contour switches and a built-in tuner with LED display. Output is through a 1/4" jack. The preamp needs a 9-volt battery, which is not supplied. The model was previously sold as the Epiphone EJ-200SCE, and the maker lists it as no longer available.
