Opis
This acoustic-electric guitar follows the Hummingbird design with a square-shoulder body. The top is solid Sitka spruce with quarter-sawn spruce bracing, and the back and sides are solid mahogany. Multi-ply ivory and black binding runs around the top and back, and the finish is Aged Antique Natural Gloss.
The glued-in mahogany neck has a rounded C profile, a laurel fingerboard with a 305 mm radius, 20 medium jumbo frets and a 628 mm scale length. The bone nut is 43 mm wide, the saddle is bone, and the 60s Kalamazoo-style headstock carries gold Epiphone Deluxe tuners. Details include split parallelogram pearl inlays, a tortoise-style pickguard and a dual-action truss rod.
For amplified use there is a Fishman Sonicore under-saddle pickup and a Sonitone preamp, with volume and tone controls in the soundhole and a 1/4" endpin output jack. The preamp runs on a 9-volt battery, which is not included. A case is optional and sold separately.
