The W35 Xi is an active, closed 2-way stereo speaker in a deep black finish. Each unit has two 25 mm silk-dome tweeters with a heat dissipator and two 165 mm low-midrange drivers with an oversized long-throw magnet assembly. The tweeters and low-midrange drivers are placed on either side of the enclosure, so a single speaker produces a stereo image.
Streaming runs over AirPlay 2 and Chromecast. Supported services include Amazon Music, Deezer, Spotify Connect, Tidal, Qobuz and web radio. Two W35 Xi speakers can be used together, with one audio channel assigned to each, for a wider stereo image.
Optional accessories made for the speaker include a stand, a wall mount, a ceiling mount and a tripod with cable management. The stand is shared with the Planet L, Planet LW and MCBTHD models.
