The 402 Tribute is a two-way loudspeaker that revisits the original 402 designed in the 1960s under Joseph Léon. It keeps the spherical enclosure, here made of silica-filled resin, and is designed and manufactured entirely in France in collaboration with Supravox.
The driver complement is a 165 mm cellulose pulp bass-midrange unit from Supravox and a 29 mm dome tweeter. Power handling is 60 W RMS, frequency response runs from 45 Hz to 25 kHz, sensitivity is 90 dB and nominal impedance is 8 ohms. The crossover is a Jantzen Audio air-core design, and the internal wiring is Axon air cabling.
It is a passive speaker and is sold as a pair. A matching high stand for the 402 Tribute is listed separately.
