XLR Dock MK.2 attaches to a Stream Deck + and turns it into a combined mic interface and control surface. It takes a balanced XLR microphone, dynamic or condenser, with up to 80 dB of gain and switchable 48 V phantom power. The Stream Deck + keys and dials can be assigned to gain, effects, mixes, headphone volume and push-to-talk.
Signal passes through the Wave FX Processor, a custom chip developed with LEWITT Audio. It combines Clipguard 2.0 distortion protection, onboard DSP effects and VST inserts in a single path. A 3.5 mm headphone output allows zero-latency monitoring of the onboard DSP effects, while VST effects may add some latency depending on the setup.
The dock plugs into the Stream Deck + through its own USB-C plug, so no extra cable is needed, and the host connection is the Stream Deck + USB-C cable. It works with the free Stream Deck app and the free Wave Link 3.0 app on Windows and macOS. It is not compatible with Stream Deck + XL and cannot be used on its own.
