Key Light Air MK.2 is a 15-inch class LED panel that uses an edge-lit design, so the LEDs are hidden behind the frame and the light is soft and even. It has 256 LEDs, a colour range of 2900–7000 K and a CRI above 94%, with flicker-free output for video. Brightness reaches about 2100 lumens at full power.
Output depends on the power source. A USB-C connection to a computer gives roughly 400 lumens, while a PD adapter or battery bank rated 30 W or more is needed for full brightness. A USB-C to USB-C cable is included, but a power adapter is not. Power draw is up to 30 W.
Brightness, colour temperature and two presets can be set with the touch controls on the light, with no app needed. The optional Control Center app (Windows, macOS, iPadOS, iOS, Android) and Stream Deck offer the same adjustments over USB or Wi-Fi. The panel has three 1/4" threads and a MagSafe ring on the back, and the desk-clamp version has a mount that detaches for use on other 1/4" rigs.
