Super Switcher

The Super Switcher routes up to eight pedals through mechanical-relay, true-bypass loops and lets a player switch any combination of them on or off with a single footswitch press. Settings are stored as 128 presets, arranged in 16 banks of 8, so a set list can be mapped to banks and recalled in order. Footswitches 1-8 toggle the loops of the current bank, Bank Up and Bank Down move through banks, and a Preset switch toggles between normal Preset Mode and a manual Instant Access Mode.

Tempo and utility functions sit on dedicated switches. Tap sets the BPM, which can be global or stored per preset, and the unit can send and receive MIDI clock and pass tap signals to its output so time-based effects share one clock. A Tuner switch sends the input straight to the tuner jack and mutes the loops and outputs. A Boost switch turns on an adjustable gain boost across the left and right channels. Two control switches, CTRL 1 and CTRL 2, can change amp channels or trigger remote effects, with normally open or closed and momentary or latching settings; CTRL 1 can also act as a master bypass.

The I/O covers mono and stereo send and return, an insert send and return, and mono or stereo outputs, which makes the four-cable method straightforward. MIDI In and Out allow presets to be recalled from a sequencer or click-track setup. A power adapter is supplied.
