The Stereo Polyphase is an analog phase shifter built around optical circuitry, which gives it a wide dynamic range. That makes it usable with hot-output instruments such as keyboards as well as guitars. The sweep can be driven either by an LFO or by an envelope follower, selectable on the pedal, and the start and stop points of the sweep are user-defined so the effect can be shaped to the player's needs.
The pedal has stereo outputs for a wide, panoramic phasing effect with cascading sweeps. A feedback resonance control switch changes the character of the effect. Bypass is true bypass, and an optional expression pedal can be connected for control.
The chassis is a compact die-cast unit measuring 146 x 121 x 64 mm. A 24DC-100 power supply is included. The model was discontinued in 2016, and an owner's manual is available from the maker.
