The Stereo Polychorus is a reissue of a classic Electro-Harmonix analog modulation pedal, updated with stereo outputs and a lower noise floor. A single Mode knob selects between four analog effects: chorus, flange, double track and filter matrix.
Double track produces a short slapback echo. Filter matrix turns off the sweep flange adjustment, giving manually set flange tones. Feedback and Tune/Delay controls act on every mode, and Width and Sweep Rate shape the modulation. A Sweep Filter switch smooths the tone, giving a rounder, more fluid character.
The instrument or a microphone plugs into the input. Main Out serves standard single-amp use, while Output 2 can feed a second amplifier or a second channel of the same amp for a wide stereo image. A bypass footswitch with a status LED engages the effect, and the pedal runs from the supplied 9.6VDC adapter. The model was discontinued in 2011.
